Do the seasons always pass this quickly? The time flying by so quickly is just draining this old man's energy. I'm not sure if I can keep up.

It's interesting to think that we've just reached the tenth month of the year and the season is still quite warm. I can't say I'm used to such heated weather, but I imagine it could be far worse. I do wonder how the winter will fare in such a town. Perhaps I'll actually take on that gym badge challenge. How difficult would one say those are?

It resembled a deer, but the snout is different from anything I've ever seen on one before.

It had sort of droopy skin around a large nose; really, I thought from it's face that it could have been some sort of dog. [Never seen a reindeer before, nope.]

[Hmming quietly, she's going to poke through her Pokedex now that she has a name... the picture comes up and she lets out a little sound.] That's definitely it. According to this, it says a Stantler can hypnotize with it's antlers. That must be what happened!
