starter: he fins his pokémon utterly fascinating due to the fact that it seems like replicating cells. He tends to use him more than most, for scientific reasons.

experiment #2 : Jade has prevented his Yanma from learning any attacks not set towards a normal type. He wishes to see how skilled it will last in battle without any.

Christmas present from Dist. The dual ghost-fire type intrigues him, so he tends to bring him out more for scientific research than battling.

Christmas present: A holiday-themed bouquet of red and white roses...that is rigged with one of those water-squirting booby traps, a Litwick egg, and a set of evolutionary stones.
